Worlds First Epicyclic Watch Mechanism!

 

With a combination of moving and fixed gears the Hour and Minute indicator cogs will rotate around the face to display the time.

 

A further cog to display seconds is a simple addition but might be too compelling to take your eyes off!

 

Note time adjustment is via a hex key, and the press button activates the very best feature...Another WORLD FIRST.... the Binary display of the date.

 

The 5 LEDs, by being either on or off,  will exactly display the date from the 1st to 31st day of the month.

 

It is a truely beautiful alignment of mathematics, horology and history that with our calender, 5 on/off states exactly displays 31 options... wow!
