Modern Man evolved into anotomically modern humans about 200,000 years ago in East Africa. Migration to Europe and beyond commenced about 50,000 years ago. Man was a hunter gatherer moving to find food.

 

Humans began to practice sedentary agriculture about 12,000 years ago, domesticating plants and animals, thus allowing for the growth of civilization.

 

Humans subsequently established various forms of government, religion, and culture around the world, unifying people within a region and leading to the development of states and empires.

 

Regardless of race and geography humans of the same sex are 99.99% identical. So we are all the effectively the same, and all came from the same common ancestry and location.

So we all the same, and came from the same place. Hence it is counter-intuitive that there would be multiple "true" religions, each claiming to be the one correct religion.  Or, "why can't we all just get along".
